If you are not completely satisfied with your on-line, non-custom item, you may return it, for a refund, exchange, or store credit within 15 days from the date received. Returned items must be unused and in their original condition. Clothing items must not have been worn and tags must be attached. Upon receipt of your approved return, I Believe in Mermaids will either issue a refund, store credit, or ship the item you selected in exchange.
Custom-designed items, personalized items, and other made-to-order items require payment in full upon order, and cannot be returned or exchanged. Items that are custom, personalized or made-to-order are noted in the product description.
Unfortunately, we cannot refund shipping costs, and the return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. This also applies to orders that have qualified for free shipping.

Event Cancellation Policy
Customers will be charged at the time of reservation. Cancellations must be received 24 hours prior to the date of event to receive a refund. For Groups with over 4 participants, cancellations must be received 48 hours prior to the date of event to receive a refund.
So you bought some of our magical items, and can’t wait to get them? Our I Believe in Mermaids staff will do our utmost to get your order to you, as quickly and as smoothly as possible.
Though we try to get orders out as quickly as possible, some orders take 1-5 days to process before shipping. We ship Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).
I Believe in Mermaids provides various shipping methods. Shipping charges are calculated on the Shipping Options page and are viewable before you submit your order.
Our standard shipping within the U.S. typically takes 7-10 business days, after processing, to arrive.
International Shipping times will vary and are calculated on the Shipping Options page for you to view before you submit your order.
Important Information for Canadian & International Customers
We are required by law to list the price you paid for our products as the customs amount of the package and to accurately list the contents of your shipment. Upon arrival of your package in your country, you may be contacted to arrange payment of any local duties, taxes, and/or customs charges assessed by your government. Please keep in mind that we have absolutely no control over these charges.
If delivery of a package is refused, rejected, or returned for delivery failure, we reserve the right to charge your credit card for both outbound and inbound shipping charges.
