We charge a fee for the Mermaid Treasure hunt so that we can pay for our time and research, as well as the professional photographer that we bring along with us to snap shots of all of you while you look for mermaids and treasure. Additional monies go into our mermaid awareness fund.
Participants
Participants are those who actively take part in hunting for clues, finding a treasure chest and meeting a mermaid. Each participant will also receive photography of his/her Mermaid Treasure Hunt available as a digital download. Each participant under 18 years old is allowed to bring one adult as a Chaperone, free of charge. Chaperone will be allowed to watch activity. No cameras, video cameras, phones, or recording device of any kind will be allowed.
Observers
Observers are those who are allowed to come alongside a paying child. Observers may watch but they do not actively participate in the treasure hunt and mermaid meeting. Children ages 3 through 14 years old are not allowed to participate as observers.
Chaperones
Chaperones are adults who supervise participants under 18 years old. Chaperones do not participate in the treasure hunt or mermaid meeting, unless they have paid the participant rate. Each child under 18 years old is allowed on free accompanying chaperone who must be 18 years old or up.

Group / Birthday Party
A group or birthday party rate gets you an exclusive treasure hunt, plus a group photograph with individual copies for each participant. We have seen that the mermaids do not leave individual treasure chests for a group of hunters. They usually leave a treasure chest for the entire group, filled with individual treasure bags for each participant.

Ultimate Treasure Hunt
For those of you who like to go to extremes we know some mermaids that really like to test your skill. This is a fantastic way to explore the island. Get ready to see treasures to die for! We have seen people spend a couple of days figuring out these hunts while visiting some of the most spectacular spots on the island, be ready to hike a little, and to have your breath taken away!
